Precision CNC machining and custom machining services
Precision CNC machining and custom machining services are among the key services developed by CNC VINA to meet a wide range of customer machining requirements. Depending on the part specifications, material, tolerance requirements, and production volume, CNC VINA can implement various machining solutions, including 5-axis CNC milling, 3-axis CNC milling, CNC turning with automatic bar feeding, twin-spindle CNC turning, wire EDM, and waterjet cutting. CNC VINA's CNC machining services are suitable for a wide range of applications, from prototyping and one-off machining to batch and mass production. Machined products include machine components, mechanical parts, automotive and motorcycle components, electronic equipment components, and custom mechanical parts manufactured according to technical drawings. Depending on the technical requirements, parts can be machined from a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and composite materials.
The machining process is carried out based on the technical drawings and specific requirements of each product, with particular attention to workholding and fixturing methods, machine and cutting tool selection, machining parameters, dimensional tolerances, and post-machining quality inspection. Selecting an appropriate machining process helps maintain dimensional accuracy, ensure consistent quality across parts, and meet production requirements ranging from small-volume orders to mass production.
CNC machining capabilities
CNC VINA operates a comprehensive range of CNC machining equipment supported by an experienced technical team specializing in precision mechanical machining. The equipment is arranged to accommodate different types of parts and machining requirements, from components with relatively simple structures to complex parts requiring high levels of precision. Depending on the characteristics of each product, CNC VINA can select milling, turning, or other suitable machining processes to meet requirements for dimensions, tolerances, positional accuracy, and surface finish.
CNC turning
CNC VINA provides precision CNC turning services for rotational components with varying dimensional, tolerance, and production requirements. The current equipment includes:
- 30 CNC turning machines.
- 06 twin-spindle CNC turning machines integrated with automatic bar feeding systems.
Combining different types of CNC turning machines enables CNC VINA to select the most suitable equipment based on part characteristics, production volume, and manufacturing requirements. For high-volume orders, automatic bar feeding systems can help reduce manual handling time, maintain consistency between machining cycles, and improve overall production efficiency.

CNC milling
CNC milling is a machining process that uses rotating cutting tools and a CNC control system to shape workpieces according to technical drawings. Depending on the product geometry, number of machine axes, required accuracy, and part complexity, 3-axis, 4-axis, 4+1-axis, or 5-axis CNC milling machines can be selected. When machining parts with multiple surfaces, complex geometries, or multi-directional machining requirements, selecting an appropriate machine configuration can help reduce the number of setups, minimize accumulated deviations, and improve tool accessibility to the areas requiring machining. For each product, the machining method should be determined based on the material, part geometry, tolerances, surface finish requirements, production volume, and actual workholding conditions.
CNC VINA provides CNC milling based on technical drawings and machining requirements, supporting applications ranging from prototyping and one-off machining to batch and mass production. Our technical team works in conjunction with the CNC milling equipment to select suitable machining methods for each type of part, particularly components with complex structures or stringent requirements for dimensional accuracy and positional relationships.
CNC milling machine capabilities
CNC VINA's current CNC milling equipment includes:
- 02 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- 10 4+1-axis CNC milling machines.
- 300 3-axis CNC milling machines.
- A team of more than 20 technicians supporting machining and production operations.
With a wide range of machine configurations, CNC VINA can select suitable equipment and workholding methods based on the characteristics of each part. 3-axis CNC milling machines are suitable for many parts with conventional geometries, while 4+1-axis and 5-axis machines can be used for components requiring multi-face machining or involving complex geometries. The combination of equipment, workholding methods, machining programming, and quality inspection enables CNC VINA to control dimensional requirements, tolerances, positional relationships, and surface finish in accordance with technical drawings.

Wire EDM machining
Wire EDM machining (Electrical discharge machining) is a machining process that uses electrical discharges generated between a wire electrode and the workpiece to cut or profile components. This technology is suitable for parts with complex geometries, profiles that are difficult to machine using conventional cutting methods, or applications requiring high-precision machining of slots, grooves, and intricate contours. Wire EDM can be used to machine a wide range of electrically conductive materials, particularly heat-treated steels and other high-hardness materials. Depending on the material, workpiece thickness, profile geometry, and technical requirements, appropriate machining parameters must be selected to control dimensional accuracy and surface quality. CNC VINA provides wire EDM machining based on technical drawings and machining requirements, supporting one-off parts, prototypes, and production runs. The current equipment includes:
- 05 molybdenum wire EDM machines.
- 03 brass wire EDM machines.
The use of different wire EDM systems enables CNC VINA to select suitable machining methods based on part characteristics, material, and production requirements. For components with complex profiles or areas that are difficult to access using conventional machining methods, wire EDM can provide a suitable solution for producing the required geometry in accordance with technical drawings.

Depending on the geometry and requirements of each component, the machining method is selected based on factors such as:
- Material and characteristics of the workpiece.
- Part dimensions and geometry.
- Dimensional and positional tolerances.
- Surface roughness and surface finish requirements.
- Required production quantity.
- Workholding method and accessibility to the machining areas.
Selecting the appropriate equipment and machining process helps achieve better control over product quality, machining time, and production efficiency for each type of order.
From prototypes to mass production
CNC VINA handles a wide range of production volumes, from prototyping and one-off machining to small-batch and mass production. For each production scale, workholding methods, machining programs, machine selection, and production organization can be adjusted to suit actual requirements. For new products or components with complex technical requirements, prototype machining allows customers to evaluate the geometry, dimensions, and compliance with specifications before proceeding with larger production quantities. When transitioning to mass production, the process can be optimized in terms of setup time, machining cycle time, and inspection procedures to maintain consistency across products.
Quality control based on technical requirements
Product quality is controlled based on the technical drawings, tolerances, and specific requirements of each order. CNC VINA is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has a range of inspection and measurement equipment for checking dimensions, geometry, position, hardness, surface roughness, and other relevant technical characteristics. Depending on the requirements, products can be inspected using automatic CMM systems, hardness testers, profile measuring equipment, surface roughness testers, and measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, and inspection gauges. Inspection methods are selected according to the characteristics of each product to identify deviations, control critical characteristics, and verify product conformity before delivery.
Product finishing support
In addition to mechanical machining, CNC VINA can coordinate post-machining finishing processes according to the requirements of each order, including anodizing, electroplating, polishing, sandblasting, painting, and heat treatment. The selection of surface treatment or heat treatment depends on the material, part function, mechanical property requirements, corrosion resistance, hardness, surface roughness, and aesthetic requirements. After finishing, products are inspected, packaged, and prepared for delivery according to the requirements agreed with the customer.
Flexibility for each order
Each CNC-machined product may have different requirements regarding material, tolerances, production volume, machining methods, and delivery schedules. Therefore, CNC VINA reviews technical information and discusses requirements with customers to determine a suitable machining approach before production begins. Customers can provide 2D drawings, 3D models, or other relevant technical information for CNC VINA to evaluate machinability and propose an appropriate production solution. For components with complex structures, discussing machining datums, workholding methods, tolerances, and inspection requirements in advance helps minimize potential issues during production.
